Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a stellar Senior Product Manager - Technical to own the Acquisition roadmap for Core Services . You will be responsible for:

• Defining the vision for building a set of acquisitions features for the Consumer Payments business, animating that product vision for stakeholders, and bringing the vision to life
• Work backwards from the customers and internal clients to build, develop and manage the product road-map for your services and features
• Influencing technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions, working directly with engineering managers and principal engineers.
• Constructing mechanisms to ensure customer feedback is understood and acted on, making progress on key customer engagement KPIs and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Build extensible APIs and features, influencing programs and long-term strategy across the Consumer Payments org

A day in the life
You will be a strategic leader for the org, defining and managing product roadmaps in areas of high complexity, for one or more engineering teams. The role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, UX design and research, data science, finance, program management, legal, and marketing to deliver products that enhance the customer experience. You have to work with multiple business stakeholders to evangelize the solution which has been built, as well as work on additional features with the engg team.

Key responsibilities also include:
• Developing an end to end strategy and go to market plan, from gathering insights from customer research and payments industry data to testing, launching and growing awareness and usage of new products
• Constructing mechanisms to gather customer feedback, making progress on key customer engagement KPIs and delivering results that drive the Amazon flywheel
• Build extensible APIs and features to ensure global parity across Amazon Payment Products and reusability of features and services, collaborating with tech and our sister teams around the globe, influencing long-term strategy across the Consumer Payments org
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in product management or technology
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, and an ability to make trade-offs using data-driven decision making
• Experience collaborating across many stakeholders, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• A track record of solid delivery, an ability to learn from mistakes and turn learnings into improvements for the future
• Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• Written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders
• A proven track record of building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources (market research, internal data bases, A/B testing, user research)
• Strong analytic and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions (SQL strongly preferred)
• Experience working globally, for a global customer base
• MBA or advanced degree in a related field
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
