Description
Amazon's Core Personalization team is seeking a skilled and creative Software Development Manager to create the future of personalized product discovery at Amazon.

We own the development of new personalized shopping experiences, invention of new discovery features, and the creation of new services to power those experiences and features. We are particularly focused on developing new ways of presenting the most relevant information to customers to inform their decisions and guide them through Amazon's massive selection. When we find things that work, we create systems that enable other Amazon teams to build on them, accelerating the overall rate of innovation at Amazon.

About you:

You're a leader with a passion for the end customer and user experience. You thrive on building new features that solve customer problems, especially those problems customers didn't even know they had. Your ideas strike a balance between revolutionary and practical and you love rapidly iterating on them to figure out what works and what doesn't. You work effectively with with engineers, scientists, and product management to define strategy and lead development from design through delivery and subsequent operations and optimization.

About us together:

We're going to design and deliver the next generation of product discovery features. Along the way, we're going to face seemingly impossible problems. We're going to argue about how to solve them, and we'll work together to find a solution that is superior to each of the proposals we came in with. We'll make tough decisions, but we'll all understand why. We'll be the dream team.
