Job summary
Amazon Pay, one of the fastest-growing businesses within Amazon, is seeking a Senior Partner Development Manager reporting to the Head of Partnerships for Amazon Pay, Americas. This role will focus on implementing and iterating a field sales-driven agency strategy targeting agencies who act as trusted consultants and implementation specialists on behalf of Amazon Pay merchant prospects. This role will also manage a portfolio of ecommerce technology provider partners as channels for qualified direct sales team leads.

Key job responsibilities
• Identify, contract, onboard and optimize new agency partnerships in collaboration with direct sales and AM teams to scale Amazon Pay.
• Optimize and iterate Pay Americas Agency strategy to increase both top of funnel lead flow and in-funnel conversion rate of sales opportunities
• Develop a thorough understanding of customer and partner behavior, competitive trends and business drivers to inform decision making
• Evaluate productivity for portfolio of technology provider partners and optimize lead flow
• Act as primary contract owner for agreements with portfolio of partners, ammending and renegotiating terms as needed to maximize mutual benefit
• Develop and grow relationships up to executive level with portfolio of partners
• Manage competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring time is focused on the highest value activities and issues
• Advocate internally for merchant features and functionality that will help facilitate a world class feature and tool setBasic Qualifications
• 7+ years professional work experience in mobile, software, e-commerce or digital business development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience working with emerging technologies
• Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue resolution
• Ability to break down high level business problems into concrete analytical solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders in an enticing manner that encourages discussion and action
• Confidence working autonomously and dealing with ambiguity
• Experience prospecting customers or partners
• Ability to assess appropriate channel partner GTM motionsPreferred Qualifications
• MBA or Master's degree in business, finance, analytics or similar quantitative field
• Partner or channel management experience
• Experience analyzing addressable market opportunity and writing business cases
• Experience working on cross-functional teams
• Experience influencing without explicit authority
• Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive level relationships
• Strong presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills
• Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently to create action plans for those goals
• Strong analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze issues and create appropriate tactical plans
• Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering quality bar
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
