Job description

Summary:
The primary responsibility of the QAA is to insure that enterprise solutions conform to the
approved functional specifications upon which the product design and development are based.
Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Design, development and execution of custom test plans
• Track defects, resolution and documentation via QA testing tools
• Create and execute test scenarios (i.e., test cases, conditions) to support application
releases and infrastructure migrations and upgrades.
• Perform regression and smoke testing to support application releases and infrastructure
migrations and upgrades
• Interaction / communication/ follow through with other team members throughout testing
phase to facilitate iterative cycle
• Create user guides and documentation as necessary

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Required:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Practical working knowledge of software testing methodology
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with
development staff
Preferred:
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Power Systems
• 3-5 years experience in a Quality Assurance Team
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
1. Repetitive motion. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use
of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
