We are looking for an IT deployment engineer to join our team in Bowburn, County Durham. Based at our Head Office, the role will involve leading the rolling device replacement programme, and proactively identifying assets suitable for replacement and retirement. You will also be responsible for processing escalations received from our Service Desk team.

The role will involve travel to other sites around the UK, with overnight stays required on occasion. A company van is available for all site visits and a full driving licence is required.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:
• The procurement, build, configuration, and deployment of laptops/ desktops at all locations, ensuring all support queries are resolved and equipment decommissioned.
• Regular site visits and audits to identify devices suitable for replacement.
• Document site infrastructure and capture within the IT knowledge base.
• Be the end user advocate, providing high levels of customer service.
• Ensure risks are quickly identified, escalated appropriately, and recorded in accordance with policy.
