RNIB is looking for a Head of Legacy Engagement to lead on the strategy and engagement of staff, customers, supporters and new audiences with Legacies to inspire and motivate more people to connect and contribute to delivering our vision - A world where blind and partially sighted people are able to participate equitably, through a gift in their will.What you'll be doing The Head of Legacy Engagement will be a dynamic and influential leader, responsible for setting the vision and developing and delivering the strategy for substantial growth in engagement, consideration, legacy pledges and supporter stewardship in line with the overall fundraising strategy and organisational strategy, working effectively with colleagues from across the organisation to deliver.Who we are looking for Significant experience of leading and motivating a large team in a complex organisation and of transforming a legacy engagement programme with a focus on substantially growing the number of people considering and pledging to leave a gift and the ongoing engagement of those supporters with RNIB.In depth knowledge of Legacy engagement and marketing (digital, tv, post, face to face, events etc.) and emerging trends including the needs, motivations and expectations of customers, supporters and legators.Significant experience of using digital marketing and communication to substantially grow the recruitment and engagement of customers, supporters and legators delivering an exceptional supporter-led experience, deepening their relationship.In returnWe offer a competitive salary, a stimulating and supportive working environment and a benefits package including:26 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays - pro rata), which increase with serviceExcellent pension schemesRNIB Rewards - Our employee discounts platform gives you access to offers at over 800 in-store and online retailersIn-house training and development opportunitiesFlexible working arrangements - Each new member of staff will be given a laptop to make working flexibly easyWe're the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and we're here for everyone affected by sight loss.
