This is a fully remote role, with quarterly on-site meetings at our US office.

The Global Content Marketing Manager will be a key role within the Ashfield Engage Global Marketing Team and will be responsible for producing engaging content across all content types and channels aimed at increasing brand awareness and familiarity, supporting sales interactions, and enabling lead generation. This role will oversee the adaptation of all content to fit local strategy and culture/languages across markets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, and content creation skills; combined with experience in project management, this role must successfully leverage partner vendors and create/meet deadlines. What will you be doing?

Content creation: This role will be responsible for bringing content to life using a mix of personal and external talent resources. We're seeking creators with a skill for building scientific or data-heavy content and experience with managing a full content plan around those pieces. This role will provide consultative expertise on which content types are most effective for the given objective.
Key message development: The Global Content Marketing Manager will work with the wider marketing team to develop and finesse brand messages to meet short and long-term business needs, funneling up into the overall global strategy. The Global Content Marketing Manager will be seen as the single point through which we vocalize our messages and ensure consistency by working with the marketing leads.
Design: This role will be critical in maintaining a consistent external brand, ensuring that all content types align with brand requirements and achieve alignment on strategic messaging. To achieve this alignment, the Content Marketing Manager will carry out all content creation tactics (personally or with vendor support) - from generating copy, to designing associated visuals - and coordinate with the Digital Marketing Executive to distribute/post.
Project management: Plan and orchestrate content development utilizing partner agencies where needed. Identify key stakeholder contributors to provide input on thought leadership pieces.
Channel expertise: Expertise in digital marketing channels and proficiency in identifying the appropriate content type/channel mix to achieve desired results. This role will be viewed as the in-house expert in creating branded materials and will work closely with Marketing Managers to execute on brand, campaign, sales enablement needs.

What do you need for this position?

At least 5 years' of experience creating content for the life sciences industry is required
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Collaborative team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to deliver feedback thoughtfully and receive it gracefully
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Strong sensibility for design and keeps up with visual trends
