Our College of Business is currently looking for an energetic and knowledgeable individual to fill our Assistant Professor-Supply Chain and Logistics Management position .

This is a residential position located in Bellevue, Nebraska and has significant and direct student contact. The position is best filled by an enthusiastic, well-rounded and engaged teacher/practitioner interested in a full-time faculty position.

Primary Function
The primary function of this full-time faculty position is to design, develop, teach, assess, update, and maintain courses and degree programs in supply chain management and related disciplines.

Qualifications/Skills
  • Preferred: Terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related business discipline.
  • Required: Candidates with an earned Master s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related business discipline. Candidates with Master s degrees with supply chain certifications will also be considered. At least five (5) years of full-time work experience specifically in supply chain management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to energize and excite student audience to be fully engaged and active in the learning process.
  • Ability to work with adult learners is required.
  • Ability to work with international students who come from diverse cultures and backgrounds, for whom English is a second language.
  • Teaching experience in an online learning environment is required.
  • Experience in the development of curriculum and implementation of innovative learning approaches is preferred.
  • This position requires the faculty member to office at the Bellevue University Campus in Bellevue, NE. This is not a virtual faculty position.
