Academic Head & Neck Pathology Physician in California

The Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a Head and Neck Pathologist to join their internationally recognized team. The Department offers the opportunity to work at a highly ranked academic center with protected time to pursue research and other academic interests.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Qualified candidates will be BE/BC in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology with fellowship training or equivalent clinical experience/expertise in Head and Neck Pathology
  • Participate in multidisciplinary Head & Neck and other subspecialty-specific tumor boards

  • UCSF faculty position with protected time for research/academic interests
  • Diverse interdepartmental research opportunities - interface with the wealth of basic and translational research programs that are a hallmark of UCSF, including the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center
  • The educational programs include fellowships in cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, gynecologic pathology, neuropathology, and surgical pathology
  • Supported by high-quality cytology, immunohistochemistry, and molecular laboratories
